Change your mobile plan

  1. Sign in to My Telstra

    The only way to change your mobile plan is to sign in to My Telstra. You can also check your plan end date and any charges that may apply to change your plan.
  2. Select a mobile service

    In the ‘Services’ section of My Telstra, select the mobile number associated with the plan that you want to change.
  3. Choose a new plan

    Follow the prompts in My Telstra to change your plan. You may be asked to sign in again for security purposes.

Upgrade your mobile phone + plan

  1. Choose your new phone

    To upgrade your phone on an existing mobile service, start by selecting a new phone from our range.
  2. Select a new plan

    You must also select a new plan. If you're already on an Upfront Mobile plan, the plan you select at this step will automatically be removed in the checkout. If you want to change your plan, you can do so via My Telstra once you’ve bought your new phone.
  3. Sign in to check out

    Sign in to our secure checkout with your Telstra ID, and select “Use existing service” to upgrade. To buy a phone on repayment, you’ll need to confirm your ID, employment and income details (it’s a legal thing).
